Who has to sit for, & pass, the CLP examination? Print Email

If you possess any one of the following qualifications and intend to be admitted as an advocate and solicitor under the Legal Profession Act 1976 [Act 166] i.e. to practice law in Malaysia, you would have to apply to sit and pass the CLP Examination:

A person who has passed the final examination conducted by any of these universities leading to the degree of Bachelor of Laws after 1 May 1999 is required to sit for, and pass, the CLP Examination in order to be a “qualified person”.
